Pros And Cons

Pros

  • It is a treadmill, stair climber and an elliptical, all rolled into one. This 3 in 1 cardio machine can help you burn up to 2.5x more calories than a normal treadmill
  • It can be used by anyone from all different levels of fitness
  • It’s a low impact machine. It is perfect for those with joint issues, those who were injured and can’t do high intensity training, and for those who don’t care for high intensity training at all.

Cons

  • If you are someone who prefers high intensity training any day of the week, then this is not the device for you. Even though you can get a good cardio workout from it, you’ll get bored rather quickly
  • It is a pretty basic machine, so it lacks in workout varieties.

My Rating

Overall I give the Bowflex TC100 an 8 out of 10. It’s definitely a great option for a lot of people out there. Me personally, I’d get bored with it rather quickly. It would just turn into a coat rack in my house. Then again, it would be a great gift and workout for my parents. What about yours?

Anyway, I’m one of the few who prefers the high intensity training. Cardio that has me doing different type of movements at a fast pace like Insanity and Insanity Max 30. But, for those who prefer low impact, or just want to walk their way to a six pack or flat stomach, click on the banner below. Have you tried the Bowflex TC100 Treadclimber? 1. I’m pretty sure this one would be good for my dad, he needs one to have his weight to a good level. I will show him this and hopefully he will at least consider to take it.
    Thanks a lot!

  2. I love that it is a treadmill, climber and elliptical all rolled into one. However, I don’t think that I would use all of those fantastic features. I tend to get into a routine with my workouts and stick mostly with treadmilling.

  3. I prefer higher intensity workouts to, mainly full court basketball. As I am getting older I may have to look into equipment like this.

  4. Hey William.
Thanks for giving some info on the bowflex treadmill! I may know a couple of people that may be interested in getting one of these, it would be something they might like to add to their new weight bench.

  5. Hello Will, great review!!! I will have to try out the Bowflew for myself. I like to exercise a lot. Thanks again, and I wish you the best of luck with your website!

  6. Great review thanks for sharing. I can’t tell if this machine is actually effective or kind of gimmicky? I think I’d rather purchase something that allows you to have more options.

  7. Hi William,

I was thinking about buying one such treadmill. Another review yesterday and I stopped myself because it looked so damn big! I mean, why do they have to make them so huge – not everyone’s house is massive lol.

But the one in your review is way more space saving conscious – that is a good selling point with me. I feel strongly I could tuck it away in a corner somewhere and it’d never be in the way.

Times 2 Calories burned – that is more like it! I am going to run off and look into your recommendation here via one of those links. See if they are shipping to my country.

Thanks again for making my decision that bit easier to make William.

    – Philip.
